On weekends, no. Walk in any time between 11am and 7pm Saturday or Sunday. On weekdays the shop runs by appointment so we can give every visitor real attention. Book a weekday session here.
Please do. The whole point of the listening room is to hear gear with music you already know. Bring CDs, vinyl, a flash drive of high-res files, or just sign into your streaming service on our system.

Yes, we accept trade-ins toward your next purchase. We do not buy gear outright, so trade-ins are the only way to get value from your current system. That said, we always have a curated selection of pre-owned, demo, and open-box gear available if you are looking to add to your setup. Get in touch and we will help you work through your options.
You tell us what you are listening to now and what you are after. We pull together a few options that fit your room and your taste, set them up in a treated listening room, and you listen at your own pace with the music you brought. No pressure, no clock. Sessions usually run 60 to 90 minutes for stereo; theater system auditions can run two hours or more.
Yes. Small items go FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Floorstanding speakers and large amps go freight. We offer in-house white-glove delivery for the Chicago and Northwest Suburbs area. See the Shipping page for full details.
30 days for most products in like-new condition with original packaging. 14 days for open-box, demo, and pre-owned units. Custom installation labor is non-refundable once work has begun. Full details on the Returns page.
